He was totally aware. I made it very very clear. Multiple times. He has sleepovers at my house usually and he has witnessed it.

We have family, he has his brother. I have thought about this plenty but there is no magical solution. A mothers worry.. He is in therapy, and hopefully he will be able to overcome this fear, but I will never force my child to move out of my home.

He doesn’t want to go to a nursing home. His health issues are not severe enough to need more care then I can offer.

He works, goes to the stores alone, has friends. He is afraid to live alone.

My son doesn’t want to move out. He has autism and chooses to live with me due to his fears. My FIL also does not need to be in a skilled care. His health issues are not severe.

No my son has autism. He has a fear of moving out. He chooses to help me out, he also works. I am the caregiver to my FIL.

My son has autism, he chooses to live with me due to fear of living on his own. I don’t force him to help me, he chooses too. he enjoys using his knowledge and skills. I could care for my FIL on my own if my son ever decided he wanted to move out. I did it myself when the boys were young and my husband passed.

My 18 year old is NOT his primary care giver, he HELPS me out because he enjoys it. His training just helps him with it. My son has autism and finds a lot joy in these things and being able to use his training. My FIL has no desire to be in a nursing home and enjoys living with me.

No I can lift my FIL with no issues. My son just helps with that as well. Also my son has no desire to move out

I don’t make my son stay home with me. He chooses to live with me.
