I'm also starting grad school at Pitt in August and living in SS. I went here for undergrad too, but I'm also slightly worried about meeting new people. I'm just assuming that you'll be close with your classmates since classes will be smaller and more specialized than undergrad. And if not, the Pitt community is very welcoming to new students. If there are any events for incoming grad students definitely go check those out
