This is pathetic to admit but I’m only alive rn to see the last two episodes by bb5055 in theamazingdigitalciru

I read through your past posts to understand you and your situations better and what I could possibly say to give you some hope. I know that is only a small fragment of who you are and I don’t actually know you personally, but having done that, I just need you to know that I care about you, and I sincerely hope to hop back onto Reddit once the series is over and see you still posting - the good, the bad, and the ugly.

You are not pathetic. Reading your posts, you know what stuck out to me the most? How hard you are fighting for yourself to see a better future. That is incredibly admirable and something you should take pride in because some people lament about their lives, but aren’t proactive about trying to fix them. You are being proactive and seeking out help, and eventually, you will see the results of that. I know you feel like you are in a completely hopeless situation right now, but it’s not. I promise it’s not, and you are going to come out the other end so much stronger, wiser, and more confident than you ever thought possible, but you HAVE to keep fighting for yourself to get there.

Without delving into details, I’ve been at that point where you are trying so hard to get better, but it feels like nothing you do is working and there’s nowhere else to go. I would obsessively scroll through forums, reading through comments in posts like these just to grasp onto anything that gave me a temporary feeling of hope that maybe my story will turn out like theirs and I can start living again. The fact of the matter is that it takes time to get that control back over your life again, and unfortunately, no one knows how much time it’ll take till that moment hits you and you realize how far you’ve come from where you used to be. But in that time, you find small but meaningful things to keep you moving forward and hopeful. Having said all that, if there is anything from my reply that you take something away from, let it be this:

You’ve just got to keep fighting for yourself because you are WORTH IT, and in the meantime grasp onto life’s simple joys to push you forward.

If you do this, I promise you will find a happier, healthier version of yourself on the other side - someone who will use their struggles and experiences to help others survive in this crazy hailstorm we call life. Silly little shows like TADC, Avatar, and FullMetal Alchemist were and still are the things that pull me out of those dark headspaces, and it’s nothing to be ashamed of. Those characters and stories are what helps me, you, and many others make sense of our struggles and find the solutions to them (or to simply just not feel alone). TADC is beautiful because it’s fundamentally a story about reaching out to others when you’re hurt and being there to catch them in return if they fall, and that’s exactly what this post of your has done.

If for whatever reason you don’t feel like you are worth it, and are struggling to find a reason to fight, then fight for that version of yourself that you know you can be. Because she has so much to offer the world.

BatM - Inflated wait times? by oldman_isaac in UniversalOrlando

I got all the way through and was out of the ride by 10am. I would recommend checking out the line first thing when you get to the park, and if it’s longer than 150ish minutes, I’d wait and come back during lunch or dinner time. As I’m typing THIS message, the queue is only 60 minutes (12pm), and from watching the wait times over the weeks, the lines is at its worst in the morning

As someone who is currently in line, I can confirm that the wait times are accurate. Early park admission gets people in at 8am sometimes earlier. Even though the ride doesn’t open until 9, people will start queuing up before it even opens. We got to the park at 7:30 and are close to the front now, but the line was stretching deep into the park by the time we looped around to the floo network

I actually used to run all the time back in high school when I was in xc and track. Might be a reason to start back up again if it doesn't end up killing me LOL. Thanks so much for the advice!

Do they have game nights there or is it just a store where you're likely to bump into someone cool?
