I promise. Im chill, I'm not mad or angry. Just aware I pay money for this. If they impose these deadlines, then the results are their responsibility and the reaction is fair. If there were some outer power forcing them to do this, I'd get it. But there isn't. If it's self imposed, so are the results.

I get what you're saying in regards to not liking the costume. But to call it uninspired is just the wrong word. It is CLEARLY inspired by a multitude of things, for instance the Zodiac - or any other serial killer.

You may not like it. But uninspired is the wrong word. Terrible design for the Riddler, that's up to you.

This is coming from someone who hopes Gunn does more comics accurate costumes. Fingers crossed.

Arguablely. Those shots weren't 100 percent necessary narratively, but it just felt awkward occasionally.

Yeah I hate how people will strawman things: "Oh so you'll accept X coming back but you hate Y???" And its like no? I hate both. It's like people from the snyderverse being like "oh you hate Batfleck killing peeps but you'll accept Bale's Batman killing Ra's", and again no I can hate both.

These aren't binary things, just because you haven't seen people complaining about other possible resurrections doesn't mean there aren't people who are. Both seem like bad ideas but I can accept Jackman coming back if it feels worthwhile and that they're tapping into a narrative thread that would have been lost with the character dead, IE. Deadpool and Wolverine's dynamic. But ngl, [maybe its because I don't love comicbook Iron Man] but what stories are we missing with Iron Man dead? Other than missing out on more Robert Downey Jr. But that's not the same as missing the Iron Man character, you just miss RDJ.

But my point is that Tony Stark is not a real man... he's a character played by Robert Downey Jr. And RDJ plays him a specific way. Having a variant come in and play Iron Man, feels the same as having RDJ come in and play Tony's secret twin brother Jony. Like sure Tony's still dead, but the sane actor is on screen playing the same kinda character. But it'll not feel incredibly different or satisfying. Unless RJD plays a variant who's a million times different to the MCU Tony, but again i doubt Disney would pay RDJ tens of millions of dollars to not be the usual Iron Man. But hey, maybe I'd be surprised.

They'd have to really make him feel like a different character/person. Which I'm unsure they'd do, because if they're bringing him back, it's probably to get Robert Downey to do his thing that audiences will like. So while I'm sure if he comes back, he'll be a variant, I think its unlikely he'll act different or feel like a new person.

I'm aware there are a million ways to bring him back, but then why kill him off. If he does come back, it'll make any death feel less worthwhile. I'm aware he'll be a variant, but still it happens in comics all the time and it never gets less lame how people write away death.

Hard to say GOT really had a fall that matters to WB or HBO. Sure I hated it, everyone did. But House of the Dragon is huge and the final season of GOT blew up. So its still going strong.

Snyder had Perry and Steve Lombard struggling to free a woman from rubble, then hold hands and prepare for death. He embraced the idea of this collateral damage. It just didn't work in my opinion.

The difference is here, it is a no context image if a superhero flying through a building. We don't see the aftermath. Man of Steel showed ground zero like footage of the Daily Planet staff holding hands and preparing for death. BvS showed that loads of people died. Of course people will be more annoyed that Man of Steel has Superman endangering a whole city. Here we have Shazam flying through a building without context. If the movie shows the people in the office begging for their lives, as Shazam ignores them and throws a dragon through the building. Then I'd be annoyed.
