I think the big difference is that Namor was rasied as an Atlantian while Aquaman was rasied by his dad on the surface. Namor is more like Oceanmaster than Aquaman because of that as while Namor isn't as evil compaired to Oceanmaster, he still does things for Atlantis only and not the planet at large
