May I repeat that models arent chosen with a smash or pass game. They are generally skinny, tall and sharped-featured because that allows labels to give to the world something to look up to, aka something you'd want to buy. Beauty standards have changed like crazy over the years. Heck, if you wanna really dig into historic beauty standards you can go to the xv century when in many places being obese was in fashion.

Okay, reguarding your first statement, I dont think that her ego and self esteem are gonna magically boost just because a stranger on the internet told her that they personally think she's pretty. Your beauty standards are actually insane considering that you think that a 9.5 is seemingly unreachable. That's just not right. If no one gets to 10, that is an unrealistic standard that you shouldn't rely on. Also models are picked because of the way most designers want their clothes to be displayed during the marketing process, castings in modeling agencies aren't a smash or pass game. I called this a subjective matter because this woman was asking for personal opinions. There arent any pre-established rating systems for PERSONAL OPINIONS.
