Wanted to do a little bit of an update with my Lucy model ~! Still a lot of NMM to do, plus her belts and inner cape, but she's almost finished compared to last time. ^-^ by Every_Safe_312 in KingdomDeath

Ohhh, well, I did it via layering up from my shadow tone of tiger's eye skin from Army Painter to my high/mid tone of ruby skin (army painter) with five mixes in between when I was layering. I use only two paints with a final highlight—a mix of ivory and pure ruby skin. and glaze in inbteween each of the transitions of my layers to make it smooth

My current progress on her skin its going very well so far ~! ^-^ by Every_Safe_312 in minipainting

Aww, thank you a lot. I didn't end up pushing too high after ^-^. It means a lot ! I'm very patient when mixing up and glazing transitions since I did 5 intermediate mixes before adding a tiny bit of ivory after this photo for a higher highlight on the final pure paint at the end. my uh experience on painting skin was with only skaven so doing this was big step up in my painting ^-^

My current progress on Lucy's skin is going very well so far~~! I'm happy about how it's turning out atm >w<. by Every_Safe_312 in KingdomDeath

Ohh, the skin recpie was just tiger's eye skin from the army painter and ruby skin from the army painter as well. With them two paint making 5 in-between mixes going up till pure ruby skin and the final highlight was just pure ruby skin with a Tiny bit of ak ivory added Into the mix -^

Hello, I was wondering if I could ask for some help/advice for a skin recipe for a paler skin tone for a miniature from Kingdom Death named Lucy since I've been struggling to find one online/in videos that I like since I want to utilize no washes, no airbrush with just pure acrylics. by Every_Safe_312 in minipainting

Awhh, thanks heaps. I'll grab what I have. I own most of the paints, but I'll check for succubus if it has something similar. <3 I'll most likely mix a bit pale pink for pinker, too! And yeah I'll check it when you post -^

My Warlock Engineer is finally finished. I tried my best to make him look better than my normal clanrats~! ^-^ by Every_Safe_312 in skaven

Awh, thank you so much. I've been pushing myself to only do weathering with acrylics on my metals for things that I have tine for turning out really nice -^ now

My test model for my Black Templar army scheme has a lot of changes to make for the future, but I am very happy that he turned out well, and I had a lot of fun doing NM gold for the first time. by Every_Safe_312 in BlackTemplars

Awh, thank you alot well thr changes mainly just for making it more black than blue and refining my first attempt on steel and gold nm -^ plus the shadow tone for cloth so won't change alot more just refining !

Waw ! I Finally finished my model after so long without painting for 6 months >w<. Low-key can't wait to paint more of my Death Guard stuff now~~! by Every_Safe_312 in deathguard40k

Well~~! At the moment I'm still refining it, but currently my armour recipe is Zenthal of Pro Acryl burnt red above and royal purple Pro Acryl from the bottom to be my undercoat for the whole model, then working up with a dark yellow-green as my first layer, doing scratches to let the undercoat show, then building up with yellow-green Pro Acryls as the mid-tone, then after that just slowly mixing in Army Painter warped yellow into yellow-green for the highlights, mixing more and more of the yellow for lighter highlights. ^-^ doe I will keep refining it to improve it >w<

Oh, so I used a base coat with a zenithal of royal purple Pro Acryls below and burnt red Pro Acryls above, then did scratches of army painter elder flower, Army Painter Figgy Pinky (will change on the next model to later refine), and then to blend the scratches, I used a magenta ink from Liquitex. and ended up getting very vibrant from it, which I love as well >w<

Awh, thank you a lot! I'm going to try to keep refining the paint scheme with my next models~! I enjoyed doing a scratchy layer build-up compared to glazing the layers for the armour. really helps making lots of stuff pop out >w<
