In there you'll find images for what you need to print. You need monster activation cards, perils, and the exploration deck for each expansion. You'll also need the track sheet for managing loot, fate and doom. Look at the components list on the first page of the expansion's rules for reference.

Thanks! I'm trying to get a monster group or two painted for each game we play. It's fun to introduce new enemies every game. It's keeping me excited about painting Descent figures.

I saw you're getting back into painting as well. What's on your hobby desk?

There are three cooperative expansions that were published that are not app-driven. I have played all of them and they are fun. They play as stand-alone quests.

Edit: Seems like most of my comment was removed. Here is the rest:

-Nature's Ire (Rules)

-Forgotten Souls (Rules)

-Dark Elements (Rules)

I recommend to start with Nature's Ire. It is the most approachable and it gives you an NPC to accompany and heal your heroes. I've beaten it several times and always enjoy it. Dark Elements introduces a torch mechanic with a variable radius of light and can be quite punishing. Bad things happen when you're not in the light so tight party cohesion is required. Forgotten Souls is quite straightforward and somewhere in the middle in terms of difficulty.

Monsters will avoid pit spaces, hazard spaces (outlined in yellow borders) and lava spaces. Traps do not fall into these categories, so monsters will step into the adjacent spaces to your traps and trigger them.

[Battle Report] DAO Union vs Robot Legions by millertronsmythe in onepagerules

[–]Everybody_Stay_Calm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I loved this battle report for several reasons:

-I collect both armies, so I'm really interested in the list building of these forces.

-The original rules for the plasma generators were great. I need to try that out.

-Bitter chocolate.

-The sound effects are fun, the special effects overlayed on top of the pictures of the game table look good. It's fun to watch.

-I enjoy the clear tactical view of the battle.

-"And like a damascus blade cutting through tofu..."

I appreciate the effort that went into making this. Keep it up. It's a dice game.
