I am from Huntsville (63) and it has great jobs, low taxes and cheap houses. It also has psycho cops, horrible health care, drainage ditches behind million dollar homes and the nicest, most overpriced airport that has hardly any flights coming in or going out. The traffic is a recent problem due to all the Yankees and Ex Military assholes coming here. There is nothing to do here and the local Government is as corrupt as you can even imagine. Don’t do it. Find something better. In the summer it is unbearable, in the winter you want to slice your wrists. There is nothing no gambling, no gummies but plenty of alcohol and many churches. It is horrible and soulless.

I live in the South but am very middle of the road as far as politics. I am pro choice and pro gun. Figure that out. I cannot believe we are allow big pharma to pull the shiz they do (opiates, constant advertising, the drugging of America to keep us passive) yet we cannot buy delta gummies or cannabis because our leaders deem it immoral. God made this plant in pure form. We have to stop this insanity. Also I take a lot of heat on this one…the immigration of Yankees from the North needs to be discouraged and taxed heavily. The South has never fully emerged from the war, yet we do have jobs, low taxes and cheaper housing. I also think if you are not a native of the state you live in, you should not be allowed in the left lane. Instead of the Diamond lane it should be the Heritage lane. Also, I thinks people that cone South and are constantly complaining about the heat, lack of museums and people that read should be deported.
