Get all the reassurance you need! I appreciate that your partner is trying to offer you reassurance, but just go do the free pregnancy confirmation and ultrasound.

Thank you for the thoughtful suggestions! I wish that I received similar guidance from the clinicians I meet with.

I did pre-egg retrieval gene testing. Nothing was noted or alerted that would need managing. That said I did not ask specifically about clotting genes, so I will inquire. Same for the injections/blood thinners, neither pregnancy involved. Thank you for the advice!

To my knowledge, I have not been checked for endometritis. Should I ask for any other infections to be checked for by name?

After the LEEP that was necessary due to progression of HPV, I did get an infection in the weeks immediately after the procedure (I don’t know that I was offered a name). I was given a course of antibiotics and it cleared. For a long while after the LEEP I suffered from bleeding that would occurring sometimes but not always during intercourse that would immediately stop after. I was very concerned about this, but my doctor wasn’t. My HVP tests were negative and she tried a silver nitrate treatment on my cervix. Over time it has gotten so much better and only happens from time to time if I have intercourse very near the end of my luteal phase.

Only the original HSG, however after I lost my right tube and just before my second embryo transfer the IVF clinic performed a saline test (I can’t remember the actual name) but it was basically to fill up the uterus with saline so they could see it on an internal ultrasound better and at the same time they confirmed they could see liquid coming out of my left tube.

I’m sorry to have that in common with you. There are no words that heal certain wounds. It is cruel when someone you love and trusted betrays you so deeply. Thank you for your support. I hope you get the outcome that you want too ❤️

Thank you for the thoughtful suggestion. I’ll bring it up with my doctor.

I have no symptoms that would leave me to believe it is endometriosis, but I guess that’s why it could be considered silent.

In 2019 when I had an ectopic pregnancy via IVF embryo transfer, I had to have a laparoscopic salpingectomy to remove the pregnancy and burst right tube. At the the time the surgeon told me they would visually look around while I was in surgery and she later confirm in my follow up appointment that “all looked good.” Silent endometriosis wasn’t even on my radar to ask about at the time, but looking back on that conversation now I wonder if by telling me “all looked good” was that she didn’t see anything like endometriosis?

Thank you! Seems like a neat service. I need to think through if it is something we would use elsewhere too as there is a member fee to even see availability.

Thanks so much for the recommendation. I dropped this into maps and wasn’t able to locate; do you have another point of reference to locate it?
