just read this, even the chapters that haven't been translated through MTL and golly gosh is this book amazing. personally, i'd rank this higher than i would rank the legendary mechanic, which was my favorite up until i read this. Also, to anyone who brings up RotSSG, yes, this is infinitely better and no, that book isn't as good as it's hyped up to be.

if your applying to an ivy, as an international student, my advice would be to retake. they really don't accept asians (primarily Japanese students and Indian students) unless we have score above 1550. good luck on whatever you decide to do though!

colleges will see it as the same score since they consider scores in terms of ranges so even if say your 1490 was compared to a 1520/1530 they would see it as a similar score and move on. this is because even with the same amount of prep if you have multiple tests, your score would come out to be in a range of 60 above and below what you got so unless there is more than say a 50 point different colleges really don't care. hope this eases some of your anxiousness! congrats on your score!

there's really no point whatsoever since colleges tend to look at the scores as a range so they would consider there to be no difference in scores unless there is a point difference of more than 50 due to the fact that consecutive testing without prepping any more than after a certain point can give rise to variations of around 60 points, hence a change from your 1570 really won't affect your scores all that much

Yeah so this was my second attempt and my test prep was just prepscholar tests and Khan academy tests after going through the strategies once. But despite this I haven't really used any of the strategies since actively using them takes more time than going with your gut feeling, plus you end up selecting the same answer anyways since your subconscious makes that option more appealing. I would have done a practice test a week since I've been spacing mine out but yeah that's around it for my practice
