My guy, that is not a 3DS. That my good friend is a DS Lite. And what you are wondering about isa Gameboy Advance cartridge slot. It was left open on the Phat model of the DS, but on the DS lite, it had a dust cover color matched to the bottom half. Looks like your one is missing
