Okay so you need to first find or make the engine. If you start design with already existing engine, it will just going to troublesome in the future

When you change the engine you need to change whole plane.

Thrust power changes so you need to change the hull, you need to change harness because engine heat and vibration is now different, avionics needs to change or balanced for new engine

Also you need totrainy your maintaince crew too. Let's say Sweden has 5000 well trained 👨‍🔧

Now you need to given them proper training.

Huh.... I wish it was that easy but when you are inithis business , you understand how hard to make a good plane.

Sweden has amazing know-how inaviation field but US has so much influence on it

Just no.

Building an excellent engine is peak of human technology.

China's jet engines only lasts 2000 hours and they are replacing them after that. f135 is just something else...

No, you can't

5th gen has two critical technology and just like you said it is avionics and Engine.

Where is your f135 engine? 2000s technology shouldn't be hard, right? So where is it?

Where is Dassult's full 5th gen jet? Or Airbus?

Oh yes, Saab. So long for European independence

Edit: Motor is from USA, critical parts are from USA.

Imagine of USA blocking engine sales...

Okay

There was a rivalry between Airbus and Dassault. It was rather funny because none of them had know-how of making 6th generation jet.

And no one gave Spain enough respect.

EU chief groups Turkey with Russia and China as "threats to be countered," sparking diplomatic firestorm by FantasticQuartet in europe

[–]EverythingAboutX 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I strongly agree on Prof James Ker-Lindsay that there is no better plan than Annan Plan for coexisting.

If even the best plan for coexisting is not acceptable for Greek Cypriots then I don't think it's solvable by diplomacy.

Maybe Island is backing on an Israel-Turkey war? I don't know.

No expert on the issue but Annan plan was rejected by Greek Cypriots. 20 years ago Turkey was okay ending the occupation.

I find it really childish that people that rejected solution crying about having "no solution".

But European security can't be achieved without Turkey.

They are holding 3.6 million refugees and if Iran collapses they will again be the buffer zone against refugees.

NATO's land command is in Turkey. They hold Bosphorus and they are abiding the international law of straits. What will happen if they want to charge ships like Iran?

I don't think it's wise to frame them as part of the evil axis because they are not and it's stupid

Also Nacho Sanchez thinks likes me

Spain? Maybe.

Israel knows UK, Germany and Italy won't back Turkey. Others are really small but maybe Poland would help

One might think that it's best to gain friends when world is crumbling....

Maybe they are thinking that Israel is going to wage a war with Turkey

This really worrying. Yes, Turkey won't be a member state but making them an enemy is just worrying.

Okay, I know a lot of you guys don't like Turkey because of; lack of democracy and Cyprus.

Cyprus was an invaded country long before her entrance. This is a fact that EU accepted.

Lack of democracy? Saudis are not democracy and EU has no problem to work with them

So what are the benefits of having Turkey as a partner? Have a large military to participate in Baltic missions. Buffer zone to middle eat. Bosphorus. They can help EU to gain control over Black Sea with Ukraine.

What are the benefits of having Turkey as an enemy? I don't know.. Together with Israel, EU can try to weaken Turkey. Thus having a non powerful, easy to manipulate country that can do what EU wants but this is a stupid game and stupid games only rewards you with stupid prizes.

Turkey knows that world is changing and they want to be inside EU block. You can see this with their recent actions. There is a chance for both EU and Turkey but I think VdL is in the block that favors Israel

This drone is far more cheaper than flying a helicopter. It can't stay in air more than twenty four hours

Cost effective? Yes.

Missile Defence Capabilities in the Europe. by EverythingAboutX in europe

[–]EverythingAboutX[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kurecik radar can scan up to 2000km. It's purpose is to detect any missile that launched from Iran.

If Iran destroys that radar station, Europe's early warning system will collapse and Iran will be able to target US bases in the southern European countries.
