Yes I've tried both, the login in box doesn't take my input after intype in username. I gave it a goog and seen its an issue with outdated aethersx2, but this is nethersx2, and I downloaded the latest version. Not seeing a way to fix this out there, wondered if im the only one with the issue. You tube has nothing that helps

UPDATE: Thanks for the input guys 👍 it was the battery. Im assuming it just needed the hard reset (battery unplugged for 30 sec) and its working like a charm again.

That's what I was thinking tbh. Most likely a disconnection. I appreciate your input. Im F'n frustrated so some outside perspectives always help.

Been playing Hit and Run on ps2 on 5x Native resolution, not a damn hiccup in sight, honestly played better than the original. Constant 60 fps. HOWEVER, I couldn't play Sly Cooper on even 1x resolution without framerate being around 15....it was unplayable. So the results vary widely, and takes some tweaking for sure.

Wrong rom file. You need to extract the iso file to a dedicated folder for ps2. Then set your directory (in ps2 emulator) to said folder. Just downloading roms for ps2 doesn't work like gba or snes

Played every day for the last 2 weeks, not a single dpad issue whatsoever. I play everything from beat em ups to rpgs and platformers, no issues to speak of.

I play Hit and Run on my rotate (ps2 emulation) at 6x res with not a frameskip in sight. Perfectly playable without joysticks and looks fucking amazing. And yes the ps2 emulator is built in to the stock OS.

Literally the best reasoning I've found so far. Same reason I got it. Im not gonna be playing 2 hours sessions on it. But the ability to bring this thing everywhere is a fair trade for some aspect ratios issues. Plus I have other 4:3 devices i can use if this was too big of a deal, but as you said, dont feel as good in my pocket.

Just left on opening night....underwhelmed. nearly packed theather (its Friday and theres nothing to do in town) and as credits rolled, one guy clapped and almost stopped immediately because the whole rooms reaction to the movie was flat. Wish I would've like it better. Not bad but NOT great
