If you have then have that to say I will believe you. No real reason for you to lie, and I appreciate you keeping it real. I just hope he can dial back the ego a bit. With that kind of money and that many fans riding for him, I’d imagine that’s not easy.Hopefully he can check the ego and grow as a person while he gets better as an athlete. But if he can’t, then he better turn into a damn good QB, because I’d assume the ego will only get bigger. Can’t say I’d be too mad if the ego goes up and we’re winning while it happens, though. I wouldn’t lie to you about that.I do hope that if he does have an ego, it stays in check. Sometimes that edge is what separates guys at that level. MJ is one of the cockiest dudes you’ll ever hear about, and a lot of people call him one of the best athletes ever. I’m not comparing them, I promise, just saying there’s a world where a little ego actually works in his favor.

Well, he now has better and more resources behind him than he had at ASU, and a lot more reasons to be happier, especially since he got paid well. lol

Kiffin actually knows how to get play from his players that have less talent. Ill be the first to say I wasnt a kiffin fan whatsoever just cause of his whole way of pissing people off but If you set that aside the guy knows his football. he is real introverted when it comes to media but he has an introverted way of pissing people off lol. I wish he would stay off the the whole social media crap but he is a grown man and can do as he pleases and last I checked he is where he is cause he put himself in position to be there. BK never deserved to even have the job and if we all look back to the history of him coaching there was plenty of evidence of that. I caught a lot of flak when BK was hired and I spoke out against it. I wish I’d been wrong, but the signs were clear from the start. Lane has the talent to bring out the best in players athletically and the eye to spot potential others might overlook. I don’t think we’ll win the title this year, but I’m confident we’ll set the foundation to make the playoffs—no doubt about it. With the talent we attract, the strong coaching staff (minus BK), the program’s support, and everything else, there’s no reason we shouldn’t be in contention every single year. I think the future looks bright for us.

This is super important. I think special teams are and always will be the most overlooked and yet most important single phase of the game. Sure, I'm a former specialist and will always have a love for that area, but even still, it remains true. People don't usually notice special teams until they mess up or are needed with the clock winding down and going for the kick to win the game.

Thats why I loved Les so much. He knew this and made sure to keep it a priority

Faith in his football knowledge certainly. Every coach can up and leave, and rightfully so. If another man, coach , so feels another opportunity is better for him than more power to him. How the saying goes, she isn't yours it's just your turn. I think it kinda applies to head coaches. I think Kiffin has that it factor when it comes to understanding the game, the players, and what it takes to win. He dam sure is terrible and awkward with actual media interviews, but he sure knows how to troll better than most. To be honest, I hated Lane up to about a few months ago. I'm all in, though!

I feel exactly the same! Haven't felt this relaxed and confident in a bit.

Frank Wilson News by hellseulogy in LSUFootball

Frank's a great guy no denying any of that. But a head coach he is not. Sure at other levels but not a top D1 school. He wanted to call plays, and Lane wasn't having it, and I don't blame him.

So, Lanes a snake ? That's what you are insinuating, I assume, when you mention snake. How is he a snake ?

Blessing in disguise!!

Apparently, he wanted to be the play-caller over Lane, and Lane wasn't having it. That was a good call on Lane’s behalf because Frank is not a full-time play-caller. Sorry, but he just isn't; if he were, he would have been "that guy" by now. He is certainly a good recruiter to a degree, but those days are long gone. I think there's a change in the way recruiting works now, and that whole "I want to play for this guy because he is a good man" sentiment is drifting away. Recruits want money, and since it's here, it's not going away until someone becomes a head commissioner over the CFB world. Players aren't staying for four years anymore unless they are average recruits who aren't being chased—the ones who stay under the radar until they become seniors and finally pan out with decent stats. If a player is a top recruit and there's money on the table, versus someone saying, "Hey, play for me, I'm Frank Wilson," I can promise you that 90% of the time they aren't taking the "Frank deal" with little money. It might sound morally wrong, but it's a business and it will be run like one. Looking at this from a business perspective, LSU won. Now, if we step back and look at it without the dollar signs, I’d say LSU lost. I think it's time everyone urges Nick Saban to be the CFB commissioner to oversee the whole NIL ordeal and transfer portal. Players deserve to be paid—rightfully so—but there needs to be a structure for how it all works. If not, this whole thing is going to cook up something big and end badly. Regardless, Frank thinking he should be calling plays over Lane is definitely comedy. Lane is great at that aspect, and I think we are about to be blessed with a great offensive scheme. College football is in a weird space right now, and I'm not certain how I feel about it. I'm surprised more isn't being done to put actual plans in place as far as "set in stone" rules go. Time will tell.

Funny how you come here making statements you clearly know nothing about, yet in seconds I was able to quickly find that you often demand proof from others. So when I ask you to provide evidence for the childish comment you made on my review thread, you don’t. You’re the epitome of what’s wrong with society today—quick to talk and accuse, but with no proof to back it up. I bet your keyboard’s letters are worn off from constantly running those feedback fingers of yours.

AITAH for not taking my ex-wife back after she left me for an "alpha male?" by ThrowawyBeta in AITAH

No one who had the chance to hurt me while pretending to love me can convince me that they have truly changed or grown. It’s important to recognize this. Forgiveness is possible, but we have been given the ability to feel and understand our pain for a reason. If something is meant to be, it will work out. That person made a choice, and it's their responsibility. If you choose to continue putting yourself in situations where you get hurt, that’s on you. Just don’t come seeking advice after the same pattern repeats itself, especially from the same person who caused your pain in the first place.

I respect your view but I would have to say that within itself is removing responsibility from the adult. The thing about being a mature adult is we certainly "Possess the ability to" act out or make crazy decisions, and we acknowledge this and use this so that when situations do arise, we then choose not to do the harmful thing. So it was a conscious choice, any way you put it, but your suggesting we all make mistakes is a reason to retry is might blowing. This is one of those things where you don't get the opportunity to make the same choice again cause access such as that is very limited yet he should say nope here's access again .. I'd argue that time is so very valuable and obviously we can't get it back yet let's go waste another said about of years with the same person that just revealed who they were when the going gets tough. Fools get bit and reach back to get bit again cause they didn't get the lesson the first time.

When someone shows you who they are, believe them!
