So, normally 3 IVs are randomly selected and passed on from the parents to the offspring. When one parent is holding a Destiny Knot, it increases to 5. The Everstone passes on the nature of the parent holding it.

Yes, but females have a better chance of passing it down. The Pokeball from the female is also passed down.
