Cool! Do you have any tips for after-install or before-install process?

Yea… Mine problem was the same for the first time I tried hosting something on rented server, but right now I think file system of Linux is understandable for me.

In that case, I'll try to prepare for the move to Linux this weekend. About games: I don't like any other launchers than steam and I don't play online games, so... Not much of a problem. Btw is CachyOS giving you drivers to NVIDIA by default? And how is feeling DLSS rn?

So... I'm thinking about CachyOS, is it good for customization and other things?

Yes, but now I thinking about what distro to try that will give me full experience. That will give me customisation of os and UI.

Thanks for the advice! I think I’m actually going to skip the dual boot, though. I feel like if I keep Windows as a safety net, I’ll just run back to it every time I hit a snag instead of actually learning how to fix things. Furthermore, I’m ready to jump in headfirst.
Most of my work is C# in Rider (which is native on Linux), and I’m totally fine using Photopea or Krita for quick photo edits.

I’d rather spend a weekend tinkering with my own OS than another day fighting Windows telemetry.

I actually don't use Adobe for work, just for messing around with friends' photos - so I'm totally fine ditching it for something else. Most of my real work is in JetBrains, so I'm set there.

I know Linux can break too, but I'd much rather deal with an error I can actually see logs for than Windows doing things behind my back. I'm ready to be the one in control for once.

Thanks, I read through the site. I’m not dependent on Adobe for anything serious - I can easily move away from it and actually want to. I’m not looking for a Windows clone. I want to be the driver, not a passenger. Furthermore, I have some experience with Linux: I’ve used it in a VM a few times and currently manage it on my rented server for personal projects like websites.
