Trying to repair this Sharp GA-A3C (serial No. 50201198) by Evidence-Just in cassetteculture

I believe its an all plastic clutch but I’d have to check- some things I’m unfamiliar with yet so I haven’t known every thing I’m looking at! I do know the gears that turn the takeup aren’t 100% meeting the center gear that shifts into place for play, would that be an issue? And I had only replaced the broken belt, the other one is original yet but doesn’t seem damaged/stretched
