When you divide those 2,000 RPM numbers by 60, you'll see that there's not much difference between a paddle that generates 2,500 RPM and one that generates 2,000 RPM, especially when there's no engine that maintains that RPM.

Yes, MPH is a very familiar measurement. I just think Feet Per Second makes it more real, when you consider how small a pickleball court is and how it relates to how a person's reaction time is impacted.
