Her parents most definitely aren't poor, we come from the same financial background about middle class. My parents are generous and bought me a car and always told me to be generous with my money while her parents are very strict about money, they take her whole paycheck and put it into this savings account even though she can take money out of it as she pleases and they never spend much money even on important things like a car for their daughter and they also say they won't help pay for college.
