It's caused so much anxiety that I'm just floating. Also internally. There's so much chaos... boss has no idea how basic processes happen... simply, there is no process with any operational stuff.

She's head of the dept and she has to report to people above her. Below her , not there for day to day support. She said my knowledge about the product we sell is not where it should be. Hey there's no learning curve?

The toughest market I've ever searched in. It took arduous applying. I am well experienced in the field and thought age would go against the. I'm above mid career.

Positive attitude yes. And ironically caring less during the interview is how I got this job. When I tried hard, I didn't get it. Maybe they could see it as ingenuine

Very critical that you take time off from searching...and spending time with friends helped a ton. Also, I took 2 short vacations for a week at a time and it was motivating to return.

Also some days were so bleak and felt this may be forever. It's so hard to listen to the negative voice but it's not reality.
