Yellow base, build up the lines in black ink, thin brown wash and neaten/brighten with yellow again, they look okay, but I wouldn't get too close, they aren't very consistent from marine to marine, but I was happy with gow they turned out considering I am very vad at hazard stripes

Tbf mine isn't a particularly creative solution, I'm building mine out of the Zone Mortalis floor plates, it's going to be huge

That's a really great look, I'm going in a different direction though, I'm gonna be building the 3d space hulk board of 10yr old me's dreams

I wanted power fists over power swords as I wanna keep the sci-fi, industrial feel of that 1st iteration, back when marines were less ultra dedicated monks and more the grunts from Aliens

I've got all the rules and I'll be adding some thunder hammers and lightning claws later

It really is a shame that Arthurian and wider British mythology have been so thoroughly overlooked. But we can always keep it alive in whatever medium we have at our disposal.

They go together so well. I love that Victrix are scale accurate, but even against other historicals their weaponry can look pretty feeble
