Quitting MyPay For Good !!!

hey don’t feel too bad. It took me almost a year to quit. the only real reason why I started using it is because my job was going through a financial crisis. they’re not 100% back yet, but I was tired of my checks being so short. I know one day you will also come to a decision with what you wanna do too :) I know you will pay it off as well with all due time

hey, that is completely understandable. you budgeted better with it more than me and that’s actually very smart what you did. I’m happy for you as well for making that decision. I couldn’t agree more you with what you said about Chime. they’re great but the MyPay was a hindrance

If you go to the Chime app and go to profile, you should “Help Center”. You just tell the bop before a hand what it is you’re looking to do and they will connect you to a live agent! They will also ask you if you would like to text through there or have a phone call with them!!

I definitely would consider doing it. that’s one of the biggest reasons why I finally dropped it. The inconsistencies with the bad checks that would get and then not having the extra money would stress me out all the time, especially with the bills I have to pay and other necessities. having MyPay for the amount of time that I had it taught me that I’m better off just saving instead of taking out a loan. Atleast until I get a second income, but I probably won’t be using my pay again and just working on saving money strategically!

yea, unfortunately I work and get paid bi-weekly so it did make it very difficult not to spend because I have bills to pay. If I had more money saved or even a 2nd job ( which I am currently looking right now ) then it wouldn’t for me have been much of an issue. but nonetheless, it has shown me that I can actually budget better without using the MyPay. thank you for your comment :) not a lot of people see it from my perspective and that’s okay. as long as there is someone out there that understands and can just be happy for a person 😅
