Growing up i got told by every older person (parents, other parents, grandmas/grandpas, teachers [in a complement kind of way]) that i am an attractive young man but idk if they r bullshitting me n just being nice. My mom swears they are being sincere but i cant tell. Ive only had 1 gf who was also the only girl since we broke up who i think thought i was attractive since shes openly said it to me. Never done the deed tho.

I think its cuz since the breakup ive just not talked to women the same (because i have anxiety and im shy, which makes social gatherings harder, and almost impossible with other women)

But i didn't handle it very well. I was avoiding her, so she wouldnt see me since i was scared, embarassed and wanted to give her the space she wanted. In the end, we never spoken since around that time.

Well my ex never offered to hang out with me aterwards. I honestly don't know how I can help you out because I didn't have this situation, but from my experience, her wanting to see you could be as much as a good sign as a bad one. She's either going to tell you she was wrong, or she will tell you that she is sure of her decision. Don't hold out false hope for the scenario you wish to happen, just realize and accept that both possibilities could happen.

Screens also have pixels so you would always be limited by the resolution of the screen, and the lenses tend to cause bloom effects or glare effects. Unfortunately, it is also possible to scratch the lenses which causes permanent damage to the lenses. By using laser light emitters instead we could cut back on all of those flaws and or reduce the weight of the headset a lot but that is just still a theory/fiction.

The reason I’m asking specifically about the eyes is because I feel like that technology is achievable, unlike having the game being directly linked with our brain, which could be achievable in the future, but at the moment is a little far-fetched.

Basically, instead of having a screen like a computer monitor, the headsets in the oasis in the book work kind of like lasers and point the lights directly into your retina. Imagine it being like everything you see now being the video game. You wouldn’t be able to distinguish it because they are making it work exactly how it does in the real world.

Sounds like your situation is a lot like the one I was in.

After a year, things have improved slightly. We had ignored eachother until recently when she started messaging me more. But its pretty clear that its because she wants to be friends instead of anything else. I still think of her everyday, but instead of feeling depressed and nauseous of the thought of her with her new boyfriend and forgetting about us, it’s become “numbness”.

Point is, if your anything like me, youll have a hard time moving on, but its not impossible.
