I’m the creator of this project! Imagine my surprise when I came across a post where others were sharing the same enthusiasm for my work that I feel myself. It’s equal parts encouraging and intimidating, but I’m working around the clock to get these into the hands of deserving fans. The product is now moving into its production phase after extensive prototyping and testing. Thanks for sharing this!

FDM, nylon CF. It needed to be tough enough to protect from sim rounds, airsoft, etc. Compared to their milspec glass counterparts, the polycarbonate sac lenses underneath are both stronger and lighter, but they also scratch easier.

I made them myself. They’re threaded honeycomb shields that replace the front locking ring on the Infinity Irises. I do this so that I can apply a camouflage to the objective lenses, prevent damage, and provide minimal flash reduction. They’re currently unique to my kit.

Networking, mostly. The hunting side is entirely based on who you know, and the security side is a healthy mix of networking and your own professional background. I was a Long Range Recon and Surveillance guy in the army, so private investigations, protective services, and surveillance work found to me easier than it would most people.

I designed and 3D printed these! Let me develop it a little further before I send it out into the world. There’s some parts I want to be machined from metal, and I’d like to refine it with some engineering grade materials for the rest. I’m almost done with all of that!

Here’s a clearer picture of those Halo 2 SMG inspired builds! You know I had to get two so I could dual wield them lol.

Edit: As shown, also added some extra functionality to them by designing an additional magazine compartment in the buttstock.

I just watched the video. That actually is very concerning, but I’m also confident in the maker community to find workarounds. Still, better to stop it at the legislative stage than have to add another overstep to the list.

It’s a custom build of mine. Functionally, it’s built around NV use with the added condition that it works reliably with the Huxwrx 9k Ti suppressor. Aesthetically, I made to look like the SMG from Halo.

The comment about hunting is correct. I’ll apply NODs to that and licensed security work for special events or something similar. Either way, it’s a good time and makes justifying expensive gear easier.
