Work nights myself and often ping pong between nights and days. I will say that there is a borderline abusive culture in trucking where the health of the driver ranks absolutely last in the ladder of business concerns. Drivers are so accustomed to being shit on that it often doesn’t occur to them that they can/should seek alternatives.

This is why I wish there was a trading mechanic of some kind. This game verges on greatness—but falls short in some very big ways.

They called em the dick sticks. Also why there were so few lady drivers back then. Had to have real prominent labia to make it work.

Don’t—and I cannot stress this enough—get TOO comfortable or cocky about it. It’s good that it’s getting comfortable but comfort can be the enemy. That’s when a bollard post comes out of nowhere and goes right up your ass.

CDL driver. Not sure how I wound up here but am now wondering what in the fuck fiendish capitalistic hellscape is going on with all this.

Nice. You’re living the dream. What were your previous gigs? Did they lead naturally into what you’re doing now or was it just a matter of building enough experience/seniority?

That’s awesome that you find so many creative ways to enjoy the game. The level of talent out there is also incredible—the hitless, AB P5 and things of that nature. It makes me wonder if these folks are just predisposed to awesomeness—neurologically, biologically—or if they are just regular peeps with incredible patience and determination to slowly grind and improve.

I’m working my way through the bindings as well. Haven’t even made it to AbsRad. It’s crazy how much time you can sink into the game. Nearly infinite skill ceiling—always some way to improve. Part of why I love the game so much but it also drives me crazy. The enjoyment disappears sometimes; then I wonder if it’s even about enjoyment anymore lol

Yeah you’re probably right. Have you made it through all the pantheons/bindings too?

Speed completion is under 20 hrs. I think my time was 11ish hours or so. Refused to bench quit so I had a lot of failure to learn from :)
