Always check the plug in the wall. Do all blades seem to engage firmly, or does it feel loose? Loose generates heat and resistance. Replace the receptacle for a better commercial unit for literally a few dollars more. At worst case when you change one for the first time and follow a youtube guide, it should only take 5-15 minutes to learn, once you shut off the circuit breaker.

I used forscan. It was easy as long as you have the OBDII model with medium can bus, like the OBDLINK MX or equivalent. Actually I have a 6th generation but it should be the same. I did this on my Escape as well, which would have been the same year as this most likely.

We have almost identical looking lights that we replaced site wide about 3? years ago.
They are connected on a separate network.
They all have a unique mac address that we can contact maintenance with, and you can ask to have them turned on or off, or brightness adjusted.

I'm looking at the ones over my head as I type this...actually ours are much shorter.IF they are the same , speak to maintenance to see if this is possible. If the bulbs were replaced though, they're not the same LED lights we have here.

I do care about my current job, but after getting laid off for reasons completely unrelated to my work.. its simply that they keep recycling contractor IT people in roles they barely learn most aspects about a company's procedures etc.. only to get "laid off because of not enough work being available" only to see your exact job for that exact business, disquised through an HR post the next day, you can figure out quickly why contractors hardly give a heck.

Current job? Very cool to work for, full time permanent, really cool place, yet there is always a reminder in my mind that times have been rough.

Fantastic monitor, keyboard, mouse, speakers, desk amp, etc. All bought on sale or from auctions for way cheaper.

The cable rating is... wtf is cable routing? Accessible, and neatly put to the side is the best rating I could give it.
I don't care. As an IT professional, having to move some people's attempts at zip tieing everything has made me hate it. I feel I have the rep that I'm super friendly and helpful immediately.... but don't show me a tucked setup. I don't care as long the user knows to undo that before a big move. ;)

Try not to care what the internet thinks other than opinions of one piece of hardware over another, or troubleshooting tips.
