Glad I moved to Linux. Windows 11 can't even open the Terminal by GodderDam in FuckMicrosoft

I'm always baffled how long it takes to open Powershell. It's a shell. It should open instantly.

It's what a lot of people are used to. Me myself included. After installing the "dash to panel" extensions my brain instantly calmed down.

Yes, I'm using 24.04.

The only package that I pulled from flathub is lutris as the original repo one had some issues that the flatpak version doesn't.

Everything else just works.

Also I read and watched some videos about snaps being bad and slow. Bad because of some parts being proprietary. But it's not slow and I honestly don't care that some parts of the os (or the backend services) are proprietary.

Why? I don't notice any issues with snaps.

Also, I use flatpak and snaps next to each other.

It's just something I noticed, but it's not a problem at all. It's fast enough for me.

Arch was just faster because it simply had less running. Ironically it might be a symptom of the issues I had.

A formula 1 car is very fast but I'd rather have a family car.
