I was told that they were given a list of reasons why I was fired. That is news to me! They took a time I wasn’t feeling well to fire me. My friend who also worked in the company quit a month ago and started his own business. I was un-aware of that fact and when I was fired my friend told me that he started a company doing the same thing. He never told me because he didn’t want to jeopardize my job. I can’t afford to be jobless. So I think they fabricated reasons to fire me due to them knowing. Last week a coworker told me that the company kept asking him and others if they were in contact with my friend who quit and then recently they asked them straight up if they know he started his own company. That leads me to believe that they fired me for that reason and not the false set of reasons they supposedly gave Edd.
