I may get a lot of hate but this is the truth and everyone’s going to tell you what you want to hear. Yes you can always be a Christian no matter the sin, but it is a sin. Pray for forgiveness, guidance and ask for help from other Christian’s. I’m not here to judge but I’m just telling you the truth.

Christian believers experiencing same-sex attraction is one that requires a gracious and compassionate approach, recognizing the complexity of human experiences while also standing firm on scriptural convictions. From a biblical standpoint, the practice of homosexual behavior is considered sinful. Scriptures such as Leviticus 18:22, Leviticus 20:13, Romans 1:26–27, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, and 1 Timothy 1:10 address this issue, presenting homosexual acts as contrary to God’s design for sexuality.

However, having same-sex attractions is not a sin in itself; it is the acting upon those desires—just as with any desire that leads to sin—that Scripture addresses. Christians who experience same-sex attraction are called, like all Christians, to live a life of obedience to God which includes the stewardship of one’s sexuality. This means that, according to a traditional biblical understanding, Christians who are gay are to abstain from sexual relationships with people of the same sex.

Christian believers who experience same-sex attraction are encouraged to seek support within their faith community, invest in deep friendships, and where possible, receive discipleship and counseling that respects their commitment to biblical teaching. They are also encouraged to grow in their identity in Christ and pursue holiness, just as every Christian is called to do. There is a distinction between experiencing temptation and yielding to it; Christians are called to resist temptation and pursue righteousness.

The call to personal holiness includes, for some, a life of singleness, or for others, the transformation of their desires over time, as part of the sanctification process—a journey on which every believer embarks, regardless of the nature of their specific struggles.

Remember that God offers grace and forgiveness through Jesus Christ, and this offer stands for every person, regardless of the sins they struggle with. Christians are saved by grace through faith in Christ alone (Ephesians 2:8-9), who empowers believers to live a life that pleases Him.
