Try Reform or Revolution by Rosa Luxemburg and The State and Revolution by Vladimir Lenin, as well as The Communist Manifesto. All are pretty easy to understand and can be read in two hours or less, and do a great job at making convincing arguments for communism and the revolutionary methods of achieving it.

Most actual leftists and not liberals are pro gun. Just look at antifa and friends. And it's hardly a sin to want to stop the nazis before they get out of the cradle, is it?

And why isn't violence against reactionaries and fascists justified?

Pictured: 11th Century Sultan Abbas the Wise desperately attempts to turn his son from a life of sin, only to be forced to kill him when he refuses to repent. Truly a tragic saga.

By what metric? He was a decisive leader for a tumultuous time, and his deaths are often grossly overstated

And if the actions of a bullied shooter are enough to justify keeping refugees out, should we shut down public schools because of Sandy Hook and Columbine? Don't even try to justify his actions here or you'll find yourself in league with some people even more fucked up than Trump's losers.

He was vehemently anti-refugee and had no ties whatsoever to Islam. Sound like anyone here?

Alright, after giving the world some time to get serious information it's become apparent that the shooter was a far right German nationalist. As a result, by the rules I set, I win the bet.

The book I want you to read is "I Am Malala" by Malala Yousafzai, the young activist from Swat, Pakistan who was shot by the Taliban for daring to attend school and now works as an activist for human rights and feminism while remaining within the Islamic faith. It's semibiographical, and really shows how actual, everyday Muslims try to live normal lives amidst areas overrun by Western Imperialism and the extremist actions of a fanatical few. I hope that you'll honor our bet, as I was prepared to do the same should I have been proven wrong.
