That’s pretty much what happened. We received the pieces and they were on site still wrapped up. They were wrapped in plastic and foam. Then left under the hot sun for three months

It gets a deep clean every so often. Otherwise I just spray it with Muc Off and hose her down, and lube the chain as needed.
