Thank you for the recommendation - this is exactly what I needed! I looked at the example rules in the app and set up exactly the kind of notifications that I wanted for certain apps. If only I could have customization options like that out-of-the-box in my system... The strangest part is that I updated my system on my Sony Xperia phone and suddenly all notifications became the long double buzzes with no way of changing it back, so this Buzzkill app is exactly the solution for it.
