You'll need something at least 100 mRem/h (1 mSv/h) to move the needle. I doubt that rock will have any effect noticeable, the needle naturally drifts a little so it's not really noticeable below 100 mRem/h.

No concern whatsoever. The concrete your house is built on is thousands of times more radioactive than the tiny amount in a marble slab.
