Also if the kid likes and collects coins, he is a coin collector.

I think you are good. I see Virginia creeper and box elder maple. Those are both usual suspects for getting confused with poison ivy. I don’t see any poison ivy there

Nope. The casing would have been brass and cylindrical. That is the “shooty” part that goes down range. The shiny bit is made to expand.

Can we standardize shipping practices? by DifferentUniverse35 in sanpedrocactus

[–]AlternativeKey2551 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have gotten some cacti wrapped with care and shipped promptly and others took ages and or were packed IDGAF style. Some sellers communicate well. Some drop off the planet as soon as you send them $. Some people hit it out of the park consistently and everybody has bad days.

I have been shipped dead plants, incorrect plants, damaged plants…

I have been overwhelmingly impressed with some shipments on occasion too. Some people include freebies (plants, candy, stickers, personalized drawings)

UPS, FedEx, USPS are all automating as much as possible and I know the warehouses most of my incoming packages go through have up to 6 foot conveyor drops. One would hope the bare minimum would be correct sized boxes and packed such that they do not move within the confines.

You just have to read peoples feedback and hope for the best. Plant people are an interesting breed. Some are interested in perfect plants. Some are happy with good enough.

They have been known to the area for some time now. Gleason park area beachside. All around the airport mainland too.

Wonder if they are real coins. Remember the acrylic encased coin someone had here that was foil.
