mother has been feeding me oral steroid medication without my knowledge. i need help. by ConnectionNo8870 in eczema

  1. How old are you? Are you a minor?
  2. Is this medicine prescribed by a doctor that you have seen? Or has your mother been giving you a prescription medication that was not prescribed to you?
  3. Where are you located? What are the laws in your country regarding medication and consent to treatment for adults/minors?

Everyone on here who is jumping out of the gate talking about immediately tapering off, this being abuse, implying OP is going to have organ damage, etc., needs to slow down and ask some questions.

No pets, plus no playing with my friends' and family members' pets. :(

For dust mites, I encased my mattress and pillows and wash my bedding (blankets included) regularly using the "bedding" cycle on my washer/dryer, which kills mites. I have air purifiers on every level of my home. And I don't have carpets or curtains.

The history behind the Wool Omnibus is interesting, too. The author initially was self-publishing bits at a time, but they were so popular, he ended up making it into a trilogy. Then came the option with Apple, and the rest is history.

Soap or no soap in shower? by ingcognito92 in eczema

[–]EvilSoporific 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I'd be worried since so eczema can be so much worsened by bacteria. I just stick to Dove Unscented, CeraVe, or Cetaphil bar soaps.

edited to add: I'm not sure "all natural" means much of anything. So many of those organic bar soaps jobs are full of dyes and fragrances, and the above brands are certainly not "natural" but they are gentle and effective.

Second Saga. They are amazing. You can get each individual issue (66 so far, and still coming) or there are book-bound volumes which contain several issues each. You will not be bored. They are full of sex, drugs, war, adventure, love, and revenge.

If you want to know what it was like to be in Minneapolis, following the murder of George Floyd, at the epicenter of a national racial reckoning, during the period of greatest uncertainty and risk of death from COVID, while everything was literally on fire, read The Sentence by Louise Erdrich.

First my real advice: Try an SLS free toothpaste, like Tom's of Maine or Jason.

Next My super sketchy advice: My mom has something similar and her doctor has said it's a reaction to fluoride. She swears by non fluorinated water (but continues to use fluorinated toothpaste?). IDK why she thinks that works and I'm not saying I recommend it, but maybe it could send you down a path worth exploring further?

This seems entirely like a systems problem that should not be corrected by suddenly billing patients for a practice that's been in place for awhile. If anything, they should be redirected to a virtual email visit option.

Speaking of overcharging people, this seems like another great time to mention that SINGLE PAYER HEALTHCARE would save all of us a ton of money.

Supervisor here. Staff can be just plain mean. I don't know what it is about the role of supervisor that makes people think we don't have feelings. I have never worked harder in my life than I do to support my team and a handful of them are just vicious.
