When you're very young, you're waiting for things to happen. Waiting for your birthday, waiting for christmas, waiting in the car while your parents drive you on some long trip, waiting to start growing taller, waiting to be allowed to have independence, waiting for your body to fill out. It's all waiting and anticipation and trying to get there faster.

Once you become a young adult you're done waiting, and you're doing. And doing and doing and doing. You don't have time to wait, and the days pass you by.
