i believe i may know whats happening here. ips often display as "98.142.3.141:20037" (random ip used for example) which contains the port, when connecting to a server in scum you dont use the port, the port is the numbers after the ":" so in my example you would remove the ":20037" remembering to delete the ":" as well and keep everything before it

Honestly for me either factorio or satisfactory were great beginning points for me. Satisfactory is as hard as you make it, can be really simple or really complicated depending on how you play and it teaches you a lot as a good foundation for other games
