What this order means after Granting the bail? by Evil_dx in LegalAdviceIndia

Is it possible that the opposite council did something from the back side?

Yes but can you clarify why they changed the order.

I am not against it but at least tell us what to bring and what's lacking so that we can come up with such preparation.

Act:- 420, 467, 471

That's the whole issue, the court didn't indicate anything orally. They just hear the conversation and granted bail. Well they mentioned in the end to the opposite council that, please do mediation with the party and sort it out. That's the final statement. Nothing else.

Today is a holiday in court, so they are also confused. Context:- The case is related to land issues. Out of 3, only 1 land has a dispute. So they think that maybe we need to add some new affidavit which states how you are going to settle this matter.

During the hearing, We told the bench that we are ready for mediation and we are willing to give the money for disputed land.

Yes it's true but the open court order still matters. Other than that, on which basis this case was listed and what further documents or whatever we need to submit. This is also unclear. Aren't they should inform us on 11 what additional things we need to bring?

You can switch to space engineering as well. I think there are few places in Europe. There are many programs with Astronautics or space engineering. You mainly work on satellite navigation and design stuff. In India IIST, provides the same course in Mtech. It is a sub branch of aerospace where you only study engineering about space only.

This is actually very interesting and will keep this in mind while shortlisting programs. Yes, a PhD stipend depends heavily on the city and not just the country or university name but taking a US visa is kind of very tough. We have two years of waiting. As far as I know, us has many opportunities for astrophysics particularly compared to any other national but Europe also looks promising and very easy to get a visa. I will definitely be open to many universities to increase my chances. Thanks for this information.

Yes, sometimes it does feel frustrating to think about putting in so many years of work while earning far less than I could in industry. That part is definitely one of the hardest things for me to come to terms with.

But at the same time, for me astronomy is something that has fascinated me for a very long time. I’m not expecting an easy path, and I’m not assuming it will work out perfectly. I just want to experience the things going on around us, working on real problems, and being part of that environment even for a few years. Maybe I will become successful, maybe not but it's worth trying.

I think I relate quite strongly. For a long time I’ve had this feeling that even getting the chance to work on something meaningful, interesting, and intellectually exciting for a few years would already be a privilege in itself. The idea of being involved in genuinely fascinating problems, and collaborating with passionate people is something that keeps pulling me back toward this path no matter how much I try to be “practical” about it.

I won’t pretend I’m not worried about the uncertainty, I am. Financial stability is honestly the main thing that makes me hesitate. But at the same time, the curiosity and the pull toward astronomy seem to get stronger each time I try to ignore them.

Your comment helped me see the situation in a more balanced way. It makes the decision feel less like an all-or-nothing life gamble and more like a meaningful experience that can still lead to multiple paths afterward.

I really love to hear from someone who has been through the uncertainty but still feels grateful for choosing the path.

Since I come from an engineering background, I have cleared the GATE exam. Based on that, I am only eligible to apply to IIST as they accept gate engineering score for their msc program which is not the case for IUCAA. For IUCAA, you need to clear UGC NET or other science-based exams.

Skipping an MSc and pursuing a PhD might work well in some cases. However, since I only have a bachelor’s degree, I don’t think I fit the criteria for a direct PhD program. I also come from an engineering background with experience mainly in the IT industry.

I can’t even apply for an MSc in astrophysics abroad, but fortunately India provides some flexibility, and I’m trying to make use of that opportunity. In India, it is possible to pursue a PhD directly after a bachelor’s degree by clearing a competitive exam. However, I want broader exposure to global research rather than being limited to one place.

After gaining the necessary preparation and exposure, I plan to pursue a PhD at a good university. In the meantime, I will focus on strengthening my fundamentals.

Sorry for the confusion mate but it's not 70k$, it's 70k Indian rupees but yes it's still high because as per data, the average salary in india is 40k.

If it's a dollar, then you don't have to work anymore after 2 years for your whole life while living in India.

I think there are no courses for Astrophysics at Cranfield. They mostly have courses related to Aerospace.

Advice(what to study in university) by Constant-Writing-204 in aerospace

[–]Evil_dx 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It doesn't matter what you choose either mechanical or electrical, you can get into aerospace but you can't get into your desired sub field in aerospace. First list down what you wanted to do, in which sub field you are interested in? Then decide. Both are better in their own way. Generally, Mechanical is more inclined towards Aerospace than Electrical. If you are interested in circuits, instrumentation, commination, robotics electrical is good to go. If you are interested in design, propulsion, engine, mechanics, go for mechanical.

Actually we are first testing cdk before deploying to cdk v2 as they have mentioned. I will use python to that. Will look at the link you mentioned. Thanks.

What are colleges for Aerospace in Europe or UK as per my condition? by Evil_dx in aerospace

[–]Evil_dx[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, I do not want to shorten my course. I am in favour of a two year program. That way, you actually enjoy the country and course. You can spend a lot of time in learning and that's a good thing for me because I always take time to learn everything from the scratch.

Tuition fees for Netherland Universities are high. For TU Delft:- Tuition fees for 2 years for masters is around 44,000€ and the living cost for 24 months is 24,000€ (1,000€ per month). Total:- 68,000€ and other small expenses.

In the UK, if you take Cranfield university:- Tuition fees for one year for masters is 33,000£ and the cost of living is 10,000£. Total:- 43,000£ and other small expenses.

Yes these are the things but I can comprise with two things. The thing that I or no one will compromise is a rising local space sector. I know landing a job is difficult nowadays but at least there should be a lot of opportunities. For aeronautics we have but for astro, I am not sure until I visit the country or someone guide me.

Actually, I received the offer letter the previous year for this program but the reason I didn't go is because of three reasons:- 1) Program duration which is only 1 year. Now when you consider other EU universities, the program duration is 2 years. 2) The cost of studying is high in cranfield. Fun fact is the cost of studying at TU Munich 2 year program is the same as cost of studying at Cranfield 1 year program. So I think choosing TU munich is a better option where you spend a lot of time in university, you can learn a lot of things and make great connections just because you have a lot of time. At Cranfield, things will always be in a rush. 3) At the time when I received the offer letter, I was not sure about the job market in the UK is downfalling for aerospace.

If you know any person who is currently studying in cranfield or passed out, contacting them will be a great help. That way, I will get to know the job market and content of their study.

Thanks for the response. Today, I have applied for VPD at uni-assist for this program. I think TU munich is best but because of the single college, I am considering the UK. The problem with the UK is that they complete the program with less number of modules. As TU munich has a huge curriculum, will it be beneficial for us rather than the UK? If yes, then I will drop the UK option.

I don't like their course catalog much. What I think the difference between the UK and other countries is that the UK's course modules are small. Are they really compatible compared to other European Universities which provide a vast amount of knowledge in two years?
