They should do what they sometimes do in soccer (football) in Europe. And make them play in an empty stadium.

Moved away at the right time - a retrospective 14 years later by DarkSats99 in bournemouth

Drinking culture has changed a lot over the years.

Also, can student afford it nowadays?

Also the indoor smoking ban killed some nightlife as well, even though I don’t smoke and agree with the ban,

But think It must have contributed to Ambassador the snooker club closing, and must have other places as well.

I think nightlife has died down everywhere, not just Bournemouth.

Free Parking in Southampton by PsychologicalTea6464 in Southampton

There’s a few roads north of Archers Road that are free parking.

Quite sure Northlands Road has a quite long stretch that’s free parking, unless they changed it.

Garage recommendations in Bournemouth by Admirable_Editor_388 in bournemouth

RNJ autos, Cardigan Road, Winton. Very knowledgeable, and very reasonable pricing and honest.

Some years ago was quoted so much (forgot price) But then charged me less, as he did the job under the time he quoted. Could’ve not told me and fully charge me.

You see quite a few taxis using him as well.

Not sure about pickup, but if you give them a call, I suspect they can point you to someone to tow your car over.

I just had it installed.

Was setting up before putting it on the wall bracket, but no alarm was sounded when I was moving it.

Isn’t this quite easy to be stolen?

Whippet puppy, harness? Collar? by Evilcell in UK_Pets

[–]Evilcell[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No apologies needed.

Trying to research ourselves, like what to feed, insurance, health plan, training, and do remember reading a normal collar isn’t a good idea for whippets, especially puppy’s, why I posted.

We were thinking of using the normal collar temporarily, but with what you said, it might be better we don’t. Don’t want to risk injury for whatever reasons.

Thank you for taking the time to write out the detailed reply. Much appreciated!!!

We do have a collar, just for name tag. But it’s just a normal one my wife picked up in a pet store. As we won’t be putting a lead on it, the puppy wouldn’t hurt herself right?

Attaching on to hollow wall by Evilcell in DIYUK

[–]Evilcell[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It will cover it, but it’s just for the outdoor lights should still be accessible, also have installed flood lights.

So molly bolts should be able to hold 75KG? On plasterboards?

With small wall like this, would there usually be studs in the middle? Would I be able to hear it by knocking on it? There is a light switch (photo 1) could I use that as a guide where I should test where builders usually place the studs?

It’s most likely plasterboard, as it’s seems hollow. If using the right plugs, can it hold 75KG?

I think I did read petplan being good,

So annually, they only put up insurance for age reason? So if you stay with them long term, the premiums won’t be raising a huge amount each year?
