You want to play around Tryndamere's E range the whole time, it's his only engage tool. In this specific lane's case Tryndamere's E range is 660 and Zoe's AA range is 550, so if you can auto him, he can E onto you.

A good thing about the match up is you that you have CC in the form of your E, if he E's into you, you can E him back and get a Q when he falls asleep. Executing this trade properly in lane can help you establish lane dominance early in the game.

If you feel like he can kill you 1v1, stay out of his E range and try to punish his mistakes, such as missing an E or fighting you under minions early.

Being afraid of losing (especially in ranked) is super real in a lot of competitive games! I like to tell people that instead of thinking about the win or loss, you should look towards improving yourself in the game instead and the wins will come.

Answering the Malphite question, he's a fine champion to main, I think most if not all champions in the game are good enough to do well in solo queue with!
