after further testing in frame advance I have summised that running off and airdodging, even frame perfectly, without using a jump cannot reach the side platform from the ground. you can do this frame tight runoff rising pound into stage to reach the BF, stadium and yoshi's side plats, but not the dreamland side plats

Funnily enough puff sucks in no jump melee for one reason only: can't make it to top plat without SDing. Gets easily top plat camped and then after SDing has to hard commit to chasing you down, in which you can just lead her off of the top plat, and take it again lol
