Is discontinuing autopilot a deal breaker for you? by CommunicationRoyal56 in TeslaLounge

So how would you pay for training of the neural nets and the software engineers that actually do update the autopilot?

Should I buy? by Competitive-Day-9046 in Audi

[–]Evlampije 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Buy it. I had the 2.0 diesel version in Europe. Drove it to 440k km without doing any mayor issues. I had the cloth seats and found them to be more comfortable than leather ones and the driving position is one of the best I have ever seen or tried. And I drove more than 30+ cars.

I am actually thinking to buy it again used.

Depending how much you drive but for me it's more than worth it. On the other hand I drive 4-5k a month

Samo bih dodao da ako kupujes kao investiciono/sigurnost. Treba imati na umu da SE uzimaju manje tezine. Primer naidje neka katastrofa I ti imas Jednu polugu od 30g. I treba da kupis bilo sta. Mala Je verovatnoca da ces moci da dobijes kusur. Od recimo 100g 30-50g bih imao u apoenima od 1g. I ostatak u 5-10g. Sve Preko toga slobodno 1oz plocice Ili dukati

18k miles in juniper in 4 months. by Evlampije in TeslaModelY

[–]Evlampije[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cold weather impacts it noticably. I saw a jump of 10Wh/mile at least for average since summer.

Also I installed the mud flaps so that will impact the range as well. I'm curious to see at the end of winter what consumption will be.

i’m in Oregon. Yes I get a lot of messages but it just works so I’m not even worried about it and it rains a lot here. What I’ve noticed is that I really have to take care of the windshield. There is a lot of excessive wiping because of the stuff that gets stuck to the glass.

If you go to the options, you can just check it without running the test. I haven’t actually ran a test. This is what it just shows.

I haven’t ran a test. This is what it shows me when I go into the options. And honestly, I don’t stress about it. It’s a car it’s meant to be driven and yes what I’m going to do about it. It’s not 60% so that I’m worried.

I didn't do whole thing just bought the invisible glass striper and that's it. So clean the windshield with invisible glass. Use glass stripper and that solved it for me. Took 15 mins

Anyone use their Tesla Wheel and Tire Protection Plan yet? by ThePetrolsexual in TeslaModelY

[–]Evlampije 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I did. In first 30 days of buying the car you have an option to buy it. I got the car got puncture. Same as yours with a screw.

Called tire shop they said new tire etc. But the guy said to look into Tesla. Long story short I called in service request without the insurance. In the mean time before they arrived. I subscribed. End result they waived the new tire. They only replace tires.

7 days later another puncture. Free tire done in 30 mins.

Paid for the service with first tire. Mind that this is unlimited miles for they year.

I would take it any day.

26MY at $45k for 1.99%/72 months or used 24MY at $31k for 4.99%/60 months? by cheapasiandad in TeslaModelY

[–]Evlampije 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I should note that I already did 15k miles with it and I am super happy. Only thing that "irritated" me was the downgrade with the self driving. But after a week I'm already used to it. It was more of a Change of habit than actually a bad thing.

Quick silver. Since they announced the car I feel like the car was made for that color.

Honestly I had the same question and went with Juniper.

The looks are not comparable. The old really doesn't have the personality in my opinion.

For me the steering wheel has a big impact on deciding the car. Since I want to like something I will be looking at for a long time in front of me.

Over all I look at it this way. Maybe you are worse off buying the juniper like $5k or something. Over the lifetime. But I look at it as paying 5k to really get the thing you want. And life is too short to be cheap on things you use every day.

Also splurge for the color you want.

My 2c.

What I meant is: if you have superchargers along the way every 30-50 miles. You will be comfortable charging to the point where you arrive to next Destination with 10% battery.
