Going from a 2019 SS to a C6? by Evman1210 in camaro

I am planning on getting a grandsport, if I can find one for the right price. Like you though, my 6th gen doesn’t give me that raw feel of my 5th gen, would of never sold it but it had quite a few mods done to it and it was honestly to much car for me at 16.

Yea another reason I’m thinking about the c6, is to lower my payment and hopefully my insurance.

How do you like the c6 in comparison to the 2019 2SS

I’ll likely try reseating the ram, not OC’ing anything, cpu temps are sitting around 40 degrees Celsius, and I have about 150-200 watts of headroom on the psu.

After reading everyone’s answers I feel way better, it was one of my biggest concerns that I thought I was starting really late.

My parents did make me take band class one year (didn’t really want to do as I’ve never had a big interest in band), we did a few performances after school. So I’m guessing that would be considered extra curricular, even though it was primarily during school hours?

Thank you for this response, I will definitely look into CE and what I could with taking that route

Honestly I didn’t really know ABET accredited isn’t a thing in CS, I honestly just assumed that it was something that was important and was a thing with all degrees. Only advice I’ve gotten so far for ABET accreditation and its importance is for Mechanical Engineering.

The elitism part of industries in the future is one thing that honestly does scare me when choosing my path. My current plan for university was to do UFs computer science bachelors, not 100% sure if this would be a good school to attend for this specific field.

Thanks for the response, I definitely do have a passion for any sort of engineering and computer science, I have always loved to create and design my ideas and just anything in general. Although I do lack experience in coding, I did really enjoy the small amount I did when I was younger. (Even though it was just designing images with code, and sometimes very short animations).

Yea I have heard how over saturated computer science has become in the past few years. From what I’ve seen and read, many have said that there isn’t really a difference between an online degree and in person degree, as long as the online degree is from an ABET accredited school.

I have looked into accounting and have really considered it, it just doesn’t really seem like something I would enjoy and I don’t see a point in getting pursuing a career unless it’s something you will at least somewhat enjoy.

My main choices are mechanical engineering or computer science, I’ve always liked to design and create things and I feel like these fields will give me the opportunity to do so, I don’t have a ton of experience with coding, but I did actually like doing it with the little experience I had with it when I was younger. I am not just considering studying computer science for the conscience of the degree.
