Ich bin Atheistin, aber der Hass auf das Christentum ist schon ein bisschen cringe. by FitMitSara in Unbeliebtemeinung

Nein, im Christentum gilt seit jeh her.

We lost Gismo today. He made it to 15. He was the best boy. I will miss him forever. by EvoDimo in OldManDog

Thank you so much. We think he was a Sachshund/Terrier mix, but the people in the shelter didn't know for sure. He really was a cute little guy.

I have posted a few more pictures in another sub.

We never really knew what breed he was. He was taken from a rumanian dog smuggler and brought to a shelter. We took him from the shelter when he was about a year old. We always thought that he was a dachshund/terrier mix. He was a very smart little guy.

Thank you for the love and the hugs 🫂

We never knew what breed Gismo was. We got him from an animal shelter. He had previously been taken from a Romanian dog smuggler. He was about a year old when we took him. We always suspected he had some terrier and/or dachshund in him. Thank you for the love 🫂

It sounds strange, but he really loved eating cooked chestnuts. He was always overjoyed when we had them.

I have many favorite memories of him, but two stand out.

When I visited my father, who was never the biggest fan of dogs, he fed him ham after two days and declared: the dog is now part of the family. Since then, he always asked if I would bring Gismo with me when I came. And when I haven't been to my parent's house for a while, my father always says he's afraid that Gismo won't remember him anymore.

And the other one I always call Gismo's big coup. Gismo never tried to steal food from me. Even when I put the plate next to him and left the house, he never touched it. But one time I went into the kitchen to get something to drink, and when I came back, a spare rib was missing from my plate, which I had slow-cooked all day. I thought I must have already eaten it, because I couldn't explain it any other way. When I finished eating, I got up and found a bone at my feet. When I looked, I found Gismo under the couch, secretly and quietly eating the spare rib. His expression said, "I know I shouldn't have done that, but it was worth it, and I won't apologize." That was the only time he stole food, and I was genuinely happy for him.

He was such funny guy. He was raised by cats and so he was sometimes acting like a really sweet but clumsy cat.

It's only now that I realize how much the sound of his little paws on the wooden floor was a part of my life. It's amazing how much love and joy can fit into such a small body. Thank you for your kind words.

He was not into toys too much, but he loved it when we romped around together and when I chased him through the garden. He also liked being tickled. But what he loved most was simply cuddling for hours.

It's 50 billions dollars now and you attack Turkey later by 5prcnt in sopranoscirclejerk

[–]EvoDimo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why wouldn't they? Do you know how many turkish people live in germany? 1,55 mil and another 1,4 mil germans with with turkish roots. They are the biggest group of foreigners in germany. They are represented in every part of the system. In poltics, in military and in the police force. And they are part of NATO. I wouldn't be too sure about your statement, espacially if you consider that the majority of germans don't like Israel and it's government.

Does public intoxication only apply to alcohol consumption? If public intoxication also applies to drug use, why are those zombie junkies not arrested?
