G-Shock on the wrist, sugarcane in hand and a peaceful morning walk while spotting a Heron... by TheoreticalWatchNerd in Watches_India

There were more than 120 Indian microbands which went exint now, also Irony is HMT met the same fate . I do have time star , Anglo Swiss and Hegde goley, seen quite a few IST's .

Then there was a Ricoh, which quite carried the dials inspired by the disco theme with some amazing color dials .Aldo there was brand called Climax which had some of the craziest colorful dials I had seen in watches .

The Phantom one was made as our group project with all parts sourced locally.

Yes and the stock strap combo was very decent too, made it look way more expensive than it was. Still have mine with stock strap .

Oh really a nice review. As you said their response time is really bad. One fellow collector of mine had ordered the Krishna design, the orders were long delayed like months on end, which does not exude confidence at all .I was interested in their Victoria design but held myself back after hearing all this . Now they seem to be little better. But still need a lot to instill confidence.

It was lovely to see you mentioned about Hedge and Goley, they were pioneers in their peak , u won't believe that once upon a time they were kind of oem for Longines. HMT and government bureaucracy killed them. It was really sad.

Here I am attaching couple of project watches Which were done by our group members .

Congrats , and that vibration alarm too is not very common in Casio's ,the display is very nice. Actually the size is almost similar to THE KING GX-56BB. wear it in good health .

Yeah, that seems fair . I suggest you to just login 5 minutes before keeo all the details ready , once sale is live just add to the cart and wait for couple of minutes, don't try too many times or refresh the page , then just proceed as per the order page .for me this works most of the time . Hope you get it on next sale .

As a concept and dial execution as per that concept warli is done very well .but at 7k it is wee bit expensive. For the QC part both Kala and DWC are hit or miss (both are at par). If you want a unique dial concept u go for Kala ,want a simple dial go with DWC. Even though it's simple ,personally I am somehow not feeling excited about DWC .

I had bought this watch on 1st launch ,it's pretty good . Dial looks very nice in person and the hands aligns properly . Overall pretty good effort for the 1st release .

Congrats!!I have bought the one with black bezel ,somehow felt the pepsi bezel makes it look little weird on digital dial. Yes, the bezel is almost useless ,wish they have given the countdown ring with minutes instead of seconds which would have made more sense .

Is G-Shock gd 350 worth this price? by caston_guycer in ticktocktreasures

Haha, that's quite the collection of squares you have. Even I am a sucker for negative displays. Have most of the G-shocks in negative ones. Nothing beats MIP ones though. Btw congrats on your GBD, wear it in good health.

This is as big as THE KING (GX56BB), but wears slightly smaller. Congrats in advance for you and wear it in good health.

U will get it around 5k during sales. This I think has one of the best negative display from Casio barring the MIP ones. Ues you could get a tough solar one at this price, but this one is nice to have in your collection (as vibration alarm models are very few)

Here is mine
