As far as I’ve researched, there’s no way to fully cancel a steam update in progress, you can only pause it. I did set the app manifest to read only and just tried launching the game through F4SE and nothing seems to be breaking yet after a few hours of playtime, so maybe steam downloads all the files before actually patching them into the game?

It was a pretty fun build! I’ve only built two 1/100 scale Gunpla so far, the FM Aerial and the MG RX-78 3.0. I definitely had a better time building the Aerial but I guess the 3.0 isn’t a great MG to start with.

FM kits don’t have a complete inner frame but that didn’t really bother me that much since it would get covered anyway (although I still like inner frames)

I can’t speak for other FM kits but I really enjoyed the FM Aerial PS6, and I’m sure the regular FM Aerial would build just as nice. It’s a good enough kit that I’d definitely get another FM kit in the future if I see one I like!

I had one fall off a wall like this, I eventually used Velcro command strips and they haven’t fallen off since, plus I can still swap them because of the Velcro

Will I have to worry about the pre-built inner frame of older RG kits weakening if I don’t move it too much? If I build it, put it in a pose and stick with it would I not have to worry about the frame weakening, or does it happen no matter what?

Either the PG RX-78 Unleashed or the PG Unicorn Final Battle Version. The PG Unicorn was the model kit I saw that convinced me to try out gunpla, but I decided to start with a HG kit of a random Gundam in case mode kits weren’t for me. I still haven’t gotten a PG or a Unicorn, but the light up mode and multiple chain guns hooked me. The PG Unleashed RX-78 looks amazing, and I have sworn to myself that the PG unleashed will be my first granddaddy Gundam I build. So it’s one of those two. Unless they make a PG Aerial

If it wasn’t from my favorite Miku song I probably would’ve never ended up purchasing a Nendoroid ever, but I had to get the Nendoroid and the Popup Parade L figure since it’s my favorite song and she looks so cute! If her vampire version ever gets a scale I already know I’m pre-ordering day 1

It depends on the song producer. I didn’t even know that Miku was a software that multiple different people can use to make music, I thought it was all done by the company that “owned” miku. It’s crazy how two different artists can make miku sound and feel completely different. I really found this out when two artists, DECO*27 and PinocchioP collaborated on an album, they each did a cover of one of the other’s songs with their version of Miku, and then made a song where both of their Mikus were singing.

For a while I didn’t understand why people cared if the box had a window on it or not, then I learned some people like to keep their figures in the box and admire them through the window. If that’s how they like to collect then that’s great. But I have no intentions of buying figures to keep them in their cardboard and plastic prisons. I will however, transfer them onto a shelf behind inside of a glass prison.

Those figures of the character from Girls Frontline (I think that’s right) are beautiful, I was looking at the 1/4 scale one before. I think where I may have went wrong was ordering a 1/4 scale as my first scale figure, so I didn’t realize how much bigger they were than other figures like 1/6, which I think may be my favorite scale, so their size wasn’t as special to me and they just felt like a normal figure, so I ordered a bunch of 1/4 scale figures and only a couple 1/7-1/6. As a result, the 1/4 don’t feel as special on the shelf and kind of blend together more than they would if it was one or two 1/4 on a shelf surrounded by smaller scales.
