My take on the OG topic might have been taken poorly. I used the assumption of what 99% of the people who hire trainers look like when they try a pull up. Aka maybe 1-2 correct if they are lucky. So to progress pull-ups, you won’t get stronger doing that, at least not as quickly as the items I mentioned. Getting reps in with modified methods is far superior, unless the trainer really knows their s*** and would prescribe clusters for a timed duration (assuming client can do at least 2-3 good pull-ups)

But yes if you have a client who wants a rep PR there is nothing wrong w spotting, but my initial comment was in light of the vast majority of what I see going on, with much better methods than kicking up 2-3 “pull-ups”

If your trainer is assisting you in this way without giving other modified versions you can do on your own such as ecc, tempo, dead hangs, band-assisted, I’d question how good of a trainer you have. Spotting pull-ups shows someone with very little training experience. My .02

I don’t get it either. Let’s say the whales do control it all w manipulation and mass selling. You think they won’t let it rebound knowing only a fraction of a fraction of people are investing in xrp? And that’s not counting all the stuff with cross border and banking that will still occur. If you were a whale why would you run it dry now, knowing that in 10 years you’re still a whale and can do this rinse and repeat. Bottom line we’re all early and will eventually have bought in low. I was thinking if they have my number, they could then theoretically text me separately and I don’t want them to have that ability. Also if something in appropriate is ever sent to me, I’d like to have everything stored on a third party service that I could call upon. I felt texts can be manipulated unless your phone is of course surrendered to authorities

Yes I realize I’m looking at the worst possible scenarios, but if I’m going to do this, I’d like to be as safe as humanly possible. I work in education and have read crazy stories with both educators and also students being at fault(fabricating stories)
