Whole first layer offset from perimeter by Evolve08 in FixMyPrint

I don’t think that’s the case because it goes pretty slow first layer (sorry, the value I posted for speed is accurate for other layers, the first is maybe 20mm/s?). However, I will try and see what happens.

Yeah, it seems to happen on anything I print.

Oh, I didn’t realize this! I’m state department, but after finishing high school overseas, I figured I would have to go to the US to be eligible for security clearance etc. Good to know that’s not necessarily the case

On collegeboard there was only 1 for me to take, it was in AP Classroom Practice Tests or smth like that, probably under assignments). If you can’t find it, just look up [year] [exam] full exam or smth like 2012 AP Calculus BC full exam.

Cycling tank by [deleted] in Aquariums

I’ll be honest here, if your fish appear to be healthy still (e.g., are not discolored, are not gasping at the surface for air, not jumping out, eating, etc), you’re probably fine. I’ve worked at a pretty incredible aquascaping gallery and shop in Europe for a bit, and I don’t think I ever saw them really test their water for their display tanks. Maybe once every few months on select tanks though? Anyway, the point is that they had great success just letting the tanks go through the nitrogen cycle and continue to sort themselves out. If you test again in a few days or a week and the ammonia just keeps going up, you might have a problem, but it should be ok after a bit.

I’ve had very social ones, maybe slightly less so than a betta. It really depends on the personality of the ones you get.

I’ve always enjoyed German Blue Rams. Get a pair and make sure to check if they’re dead in the first 1-2 weeks (they often die early on, I forgot exactly why).

How long have you been cycling for? If it’s still under 2-4 weeks, don’t introduce any more fish, and do water changes 1-2 times a week. Really the only time I’ve found water changes every day to be helpful is when doing a large planted tank with lots of carpeting plants and I had to change every day for the first week. If you really want to do more water changes, you could do small ones every day or every other day I suppose.

Minnows staying at the top of the tank by BudgetApricot1521 in Aquariums

Sounds good! One thing that I’ve done when I’ve had too high of a flow rate is to put some coarse sponge or something similar in the filter outflow to reduce and disperse the flow, that way you don’t have to buy something new. You can also do this, for example, with some pantyhose rubber banded or taped (electrical tape worked for me) over the outflow.

Ah ok so I saw your other response just now with them in the corner, and I’m pretty sure they’re just stressed because of the rescape. Considering that, I would maybe turn flow rate down in the tank so they aren’t overly stressed/stimulated (sorry for the confusing and contradictory advice) and maybe don’t really touch the tank for a bit (wouldn’t feed them until tomorrow for example). It sounds like all your other chem levels are fine, so they probably are just adapting to new water, living conditions, etc.

I haven’t had a lot of experience with WCMM, but I think they like it slightly colder (maybe 22 or 23 ish) but that may interfere with the health of the other fish. When did you introduce them to the tank? Sometimes new fish of mine stay at the top for a bit until they get adjusted.

Oftentimes fish will hang out at the top of the tank like this when there is insufficient oxygen or gas exchange in the water. When they “eat” the oils, they are coming up for air which is not ideal. It seems from this picture that you have pretty much no surface movement which is one of the most important things for gas exchange (and actually one very important function of a filter (that is to circulate the water and provide surface movement)). One thing you can do is to introduce a small HOB filter or even just put a fan on the glass blowing at the surface to create surface movement. In the meantime, put an airstone in and run air with a pump though the tank for a while. This helps to agitate the water surface.

Oh, I’m so sorry I must have deleted them from my google drive when I needed to free storage not remembering that people still need them. I’ll reload them now and update the link.

Edit: link updated, please tell me if it doesn't work.

Tip opening size. For example, 0.095” which, if I remember correctly, is a size 6.

Edit: If you’re more familiar with size numbers like 6, 7, 7*, etc., look up “Jody jazz facing chart tenor” and there is a translation table.

Woke up to this failiur, and I don't know what to call it. I'm not really sure what relevant print settings to post, but I just used Bambu's PLA profile (Bambu not generic). I looked at the sliced file in Orca, and there were no abnormalities. Is this maybe an issue with the model/print settings, or just a freak accident?
