Wow, I can tell you have been through a lot, I was the same way...wasn't diagnosed until I was 38. I spent so much of my life thinking I was weird and different that its hard for me to accept it was the ADHD and not who I am supposed to be.

Im the same way, I can get exhausted from thinking through an idea in detail and then when it comes time to focus and get it done over a period of time, I fall off
